Benjamin Shapiro is fifteen years old. He currently lives in Berkeley, California. He has been studying the piano for ten years and loves to play on any occasion. Benjamin is currently studying with Arkadi Serper, who can be found at: http://www.arkadiserper.com.
Benjamin enjoys playing all kinds of different music, but he especially focuses on music from the Classical Romantic period: Rachmaninov, Brahms, and Beethoven are a few of his most favorite composers. But despite his public focus on classical music, Benjamin also dabbles from time to time in improvisation, jazz, and nearly anything he can (almost) sing.
Benjamin currently goes to Stanford University Online High School where he is president and co-founder of the Music Club and enjoys mathematics, reading, writing, having fun with friends, homework, more homework and of course, piano. He plays on a century-old Henry F. Miller grand piano.
